A Taste Of Jamaica
Nice atmosphere along with good food and big portions
I have eaten there and the food is delicious. One thing you need to do, however, is include your menu on your website!!!

Great Food. First time eating Jamaican food, but it won't be the last. Great food and service.
Their food is delicious and the staff is very polite. I highly recommend!
I have eaten at this restaurant 5 times already and I will go back again! I have enjoyed the entrees and sides. I especially like their chicken Soup. I would go there just for that. Blessings over your business for success!
Wonderful surprise! So glad to find a Jamaican restaurant in Suffolk. Authentic Jamaican Food! Very tasty. Great service. We stopped and had dinner & totally enjoyed it.
The restaurant is very nice and clean and will have your mouth watering as soon as you walk through the door! The fried cabbage and carrots was delicious and the plantains were so sweet and buttery I should have gotten two orders! I am happy to have found a hidden gem in Suffolk!
Great experience and the food is definitely authentic!! Family feel and the foods is better than what I've had IN Jamaica!! Portions exceeded my expectations for the price! We have tried the curry goat, curry chicken, chicken stew, plantains, cabbage and rice and peas! A Taste of Jamaica definitely has my family as a customer!
A friend brought me here for lunch one afternoon and I absolutely loved it. So much that two days later I did take out on my way home from work. Their menu is a bit smalI but I really think its quality over quantity. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and friend cabbage. The chicken has a nice heat but not too much and plenty of flavor. I also had the oxtail gravy over the top of my rice which was just as good. They have ginger beer which was by far the best I have had in a long time. When we dined in there was also complementary chicken soup that was really good. The food is also a very good price for a generous helping. My friend and I both had a ginger beer, jerk chicken, rice (with different gravies), fried cabbage and soup and it came out to $22 I believe. As for the staff the girl who took our order both times was very polite and speedy.
All in all the place is extremely clean and the food is wonderful. I would definitely recommend.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Authentic Jamaican food. Will definitely come back!!
This restaurant was such a great find. My husband and I were so happy to find authentic Jamaican food! I had the chicken curry with rice and beans and plantains as sides. The entree also came with chicken soup, which was delicious. The soup also had dumplings along with a healthy bit of shredded chicken which made it a hearty appetizer. The curry chicken was delicious and they brought extra gravy for the rice and beans. The plantains were also the best I have had in the area!
I have eagerly waited for them to open today. I decided to try them out for lunch today. The food was so great that I got them for dinner tonight too! I have had most everything in their menu and each item was fantastic. The portions for the price are great as well! Glad to have them here in Suffolk.
Eating here for the first time and it's phenomenal!!! Authentic flavor and dishes. Easy going atmosphere. Friendly staff. Takes me right back to our trip to Jamaica 3 years ago! I love that I have somewhere to get curried goat! We will be telling everyone we know about this place!
